The Milken Institute hosted a forum with community members talking about a new approach to fighting gang violence. The hot zone approach. The hot zone approach is a community focused effort to reduce violence in gang-ridden areas. It is in addition to already proposed antigang initiatives by LA County. Karen Marcus reports, with additional reporting by Esther Pomeroy.
