The storied Martin Luther King Jr. hospital in Willowbrook is one step closer to reopening. The hospital closed in 2007 after life-threatening mistakes were uncovered and the hospital failed an inspection by federal regulators. The L.A. County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a plan to partner with the University of California to reopen what they're calling the new MLK hospital. UC regents approved the partnership in November. Richie Duchon has more on the vote today that will move things forward.
