Andrew McPherson, composer and electrical engineer, has invented a device that turns a traditonal, grand piano into a completely new instrument.  It's called the Magnetic Resonator Piano, and it surpasses all of the sonic limitations of a normal piano, like decay and pitch constancy. Amazingly, the sound is all acoustic.

The contemporary music series People Inside Electronics will present a concert featuring the Magnetic Resonator Piano this Saturday, April 18th at 8:00 p.m., at the Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church in Pasadena.
