With election day right around the corner USC Dornsife and the Los Angeles Times hosted a phone conference to analyze the data collected from their latest poll on the governor's race, ballot propositions and the ebola response.

The data showed the race for California’s governor's is not a close one. According to the poll, republican Neel Kashkari is facing a 19 point deficit against incumbent Jerry Brown.

Unlike the gubernatorial race, the election for California superintendent is very close with incumbent Tom Torlakson leading challenger Marshall Tuck only 32 to 29 percent among likely voters.
