Mark Hayashi: L.A.’s #1 sushi chef

Mark Hayashi is the Executive Sushi Chef at Koi, an upscale Asian Fusion restaurant located in West Hollywood. He was dubbed L.A.'s best sushi chef by Thrillist, a "digital media company consisting of three brands: food, drink and travel." Hayashi, who was classically trained, blends flavors from various cultures into his dishes. He knows how to keep bringing guests in, despite competition. Annenberg Radio News' Belinda Cai reports.
