Los Angeles Philharmonic will premiere Stephen Hartke's Symphony No. 4 under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel.  Hartke, one of the most distinctive compositional voices in classical music today, discussed what it was like to write this piece and collaborate with an orchestra.

Symphony No. 4 runs at Disney Hall through Saturday and closes at Orange County's Segerstrom Concert Hall on Sunday.
