Half of Los Angeles residents live with roommates due to high housing costs

Los Angeles has the highest rate of adults living with roommates in the country, with about 48% of metro L.A. residents living in shared housing. The statistic results from the low wages and high housing costs that residents face. However, experts say that the situation is not likely to improve, for a better economy leads to increased housing prices.
