There is never a dull moment for the firefighters of Station 66 in south Los Angeles.

Many calls are dispatched to Station 66 sending them to different emergencys, such as two-story building complex that was filled with smoke and an unconscious resident.

The men and women who serve as firefighters work unselfishly, often missing holidays and special occassions with their families. Their work days consist of 24-hours shifts, while most of them work several days of the week.

"At the end of the day, I think the payouts and the positives of the job, heavily outweigh the negatives," Sean I'ansen, firefighter, said.
