Same-sex marriage is now legal in five more states: Oklahoma, Virginia, Utah, Indiana, and Wisconsin. As a result, there are now 24 states where same-sex couples can get married. This event is due to the Supreme Court's decision to reject involvement in the marriage rights issue. More states are expected to also legalize same-sex marriage soon, including Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
