Mobile ordering is the new frontier of fast food

Taco Bell's grand-scale release of its completely revamped mobile ordering app will now allow customers to order from their phones, pick up their order in store, and wait in a seperate pick up line.

While this type of innovation has helped fast food companies like Taco Bell in the past, Scott Oches, editor at the quick-service restaurant monitor QSRMagazine, says that the intense compeition in the fast food industry isn't all cheesy-fried goodness.
