Hewlett-Packard to split into two new companies

After 75 years as a unified company, Hewlett-Packard announced its plan to split into two companies. One, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise will focus on infrastructure and software and the other, HP Inc., will focus on personal systems and printing.

Since the rumored split, the company stock is up 6% according to USA Today. Additionally, tech analysts see this shift towards focus over unity as an opportunity for HP to establish new partnerships.
