Garcetti signs directive to combat drought

Today L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti signed a directive to decrease city-wide water usage by 20 percent by 2014. Water cutbacks mentioned in the directive include city landscaping and residential landscaping. The Department of Water and Power will offer incentives to those who change their lawns to a more enviornmentally-friendly grass. Mark Gold, Kirsten James and Angelica Gonzales explain the need for the motion.
