Air Force One made a routine landing at LAX on Thursday, and the journalists who consistently cover President Obama's arrivals and departures in Southern California are subjected to extensive scrutiny while the wait for the Eagle to land. 

Freelance photographers David Bro and Frederic Brown give insight into why it's important to them to cover the President, despite the fact that they only see him for approximately 30-40 seconds as he makes his way from Air Force One to the vehicle that takes him to his next destination.
