Bell Gardens mayor's shooting death shocks community

Bell Gardens residents are shocked by the killing of their mayor Daniel Crespo.

The mayor and his wife Lyvette Crespo were fighting Tuesday afternoon. Their 19-year-old son Daniel, Jr. intervened. When a physical altercation began between the mayor and his son, Lyvette Crespo retrieved her husband's gun and shot him multiple times in the chest. He died on the way to the hospital, L.A. County Sheriff's Department officials said.
