As the Creative Director of The New York Times Research & Development Lab, Alexis Lloyd investigates and develops cutting-edge technologies within the field of journalism. Selected as the 2014 Annenberg Innovator in Residence, Lloyd visited USC to discuss the intersection between media and technology.

During her week stay, she gave a public talk on the relationship between humans and computational systems, entitled "Human in the Loop: Conversations Between People and Machines," led a series of workshops at the Annenberg Innovation Lab, and visited several classes.

In this ARN interview, Lloyd speculates on the future of journalism and what the emergence of digital news will mean for producers and consumers, alike.
