Ever wonder why your mom would tell you to 'go outside and get some exercise?'  A new study released by the University of Illinois shows that children who get at least an hour of activity a day are more likely to improve their ability to focus.

Dr. Charles Hillman led the study, which found that physical activity, in children ages 7 to 9, leads to the brain function for attention and working memory.  Therefore, after exercise children were more successful in tasks that required more concentration.
