Candidates are interviewed differently than non-candidates. Here are The Hot Seat's Election Interview Notes/Protocol for all of the candidate interviews.

Host Max Schwartz interviewed candidates running for Los Angeles County Sheriff, the 3rd District seat on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and member of the Assembly for the 62nd District.

All of the candidates were interviewed for about 30 minutes. One reason some interviews are slightly longer than others due to the opening and closing monologues. A second reason is because the Schwartz asked some questions that are specific to particular candidates.

The interviews are published from first candidate interviewed - overall - to last candidate interviewed - overall - which means the first candidate's episode is above Sen. Holly Mitchell's episode and the last candidate's episode will be at the top.
