SOC Driving School Owner and Instructor, Khalid Abowath believes his students will benefit from the recent law which requires rearview cameras to be placed on all new vehicles under 10,000 pounds. "You can see a lot more with a camera than you can ever see by looking back," Abowath said. However, the driving school instructor shared that he has not yet heard from the Department of Motor Vehicles on what influence, if any, this new technology will have on preparing students to pass their driving test exams. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation the law will go into effect by May 2018.
