A poll was taken amongst Cal State schools to see whether students have health insurance or not. The survey found that a number of students do not have health insurance. These students are called the Young Invincibles because they believe they will never get hurt or sick. The name given to these students are misleading. The reason students do not have health insurance is not because they feel invincible, but because they think health insurance in expensive. Professor Walter Zelman at Cal State Los Angeles is hoping to educate students and inform them that with the Affordable Care Act health insurance can be inexpensive with a monthly fee of $14.
