Senate passes LGBT worker's rights act

The Senate passed the Employment Non-Discrimination Act Thursday to stop employers from firing or refusing to hire workers because of their sexual orientation.

Though more than 21 states have laws protectng the LGBT community in the workplace, this is not the case on the federal level.

Hailed as a victory for bi-partisanship, there is still major skepticism for the bill to pass the Republican-led house.
