Kogi BBQ founder releases new memoir

Roy Choi, the Kogi BBQ food truck founder filled his new book, L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food, with stories and recipes inspired from his Korean roots.

Kat Odell, editor for the food blog, Eater LA, believes Choi is one of the top chefs in Los Angeles, and even though the food truck trend is tapering, Kogi BBQ is here to stay. 

Students at Los Angeles City College love the Kogi BBQ food truck that stops by the student union on Tuesdays. Maria, 20, and Esther, 26, students at LACC comment on their favorite menu items and the convenience of the trucks. Die-hard Kogi fans can now find out more about their favorite food truck with the Choi's new book.
