This week's special guest is Assistant Secretary of State Evan Ryan; she is the Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Assistant Secretary Ryan talks about what the United States does to promote education abroad and what the U.S. to help countries resist the influence of the Taliban or similar organizations. Schwartz and Ryan talk about how the United States works with other countries on their education systems when the U.S. does not have the best system in the world.
