Police brutality back in the spotlight

The corner of Crenshaw and Slauson was the scene of the October 22nd Coalition's Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression and the Criminalization of a Generation, which has taken place every October 22nd for the past 18 years. High-profile police misconduct cases are a very visible part of the history of Los Angeles, and protesters reported what it means to try and bring attention to the familes of those affected by this controversial issue.
