Santa Monica artist rejuvenates abandoned house paint in 'green art'

Many artists can spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on their supplies. But Cassandra Tondro, a Santa Monica native, only pays for a couple blocks worth of gas.

Tondro calls herself a green artist and her repertoire of colorful and bright paints comes from the Santa Monica Household Hazardous Waste Center. Hear how she works with house paint on canvas and why she chooses such a unique path.
