University of California San Diego students protested an off-campus party that mocked black history month named "Compton cookout" and their outrage is being felt across Southern California. We have reaction from Compton residents, who say the party perpetuates stereotypes that are simply not true. USC student stood in solidarity with UCSD protesters, and said racial tensions are alive and well on USC campus too. We got their stories describing discrimination they faced on USC campus. We also take a look at LAUSD's plan to allow the L.A. teachers union to run 22 school and talk to a education profession who asses what this means for L.A. Plus, hear a story about a new plan to keep South L.A. students safe on their way to school and find out the latest on city budget cuts.
