February marks Black History Month. We'll hear how Archbishop Desmond Tutu feels about the importance of black heritage. The Los Angeles County Fire Department swore in its first African American fire chief in the department's 88-year history. Governor Jerry Brown has called for an end to community redevelopment agencies as part of his effort to close the budget shortfall. Listen to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's opposition to the governor's plan. The local Felix Chevrolet has joined with Alpine Green Solutions to revitalize the dealership. Their goal is to make it the first "net zero energy" dealership in California.
