Omar Shamout is a second-year graduate student studying digital journalism. In addition to his ARN duties, Omar is also a senior staff writer for Annenberg Digital News' Neon Tommy and a contributor to both KPCC and KCET. He has an interest in community stories highlighting the cultural and socio-economic issues facing urban America.
