Katie Lyons is a Senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism at USC. Born and raised in Marin County, California, Lyons first developed her passion for broadcasting when she started taking photography classes in high school. From there, Lyons began taking journalism classes at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After two years, she transferred to the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at USC to continue her studies of broadcasting. Lyons has worked at KRON 4 in San Francisco, and currently works as an intern at KTLA. In her spare time, Lyons enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to the beach.
