Angie Fiedler Sutton

Angie Fiedler Sutton is from the Kansas City area, where she attended Park University to receive her bachelor’s in Communication Arts: Journalism. She’s spent almost 20 years volunteering for various arts organizations in almost every aspect, including almost 15 years (7 of which was as associate editor) with the all-volunteer performing arts magazine KC Stage.

She was chosen as a fellow for the 2010 NEA Arts Journalism Institute, and is currently attending University of Southern California for her master’s program in Specialized Journalism: The Arts.

Her interests have recently turned to the study of all things geeky and nerdy, including graphic novels, gaming, and fannish pursuits on TV and in movies. Follow her on Twitter, and watch her fangirl nature on Tumblr. Check out G33K Out, her geek blog being submitted for her thesis.
